'Grantham' (Mobile Application) is an internet based book shop, owned and operated by Paresh Agencies, a books store registered under Bombay Shops and Establishments Act 1948, L. No. 009151 .
Through the Grantham, Paresh Agencies shall provide you ("User")
This User Agreement ("Agreement") sets out the terms and conditions on which Paresh Agencies shall provide the Services to the User through the Grantham. In addition to this Agreement and depending on the Services opted for by the User, the User shall be required to read and accept all the relevant TOS for such Service, which may be updated or modified solely by Paresh Agencies from time to time. Such TOS shall be deemed to be a part of this Agreement and in the event of a conflict between such TOS and this Agreement, the terms of this Agreement shall prevail.
Use of the Grantham is offered to the User conditioned on acceptance without modification of all the terms, conditions and notices contained in this Agreement and the TOS, as may be posted on the Mobile Application from time to time. For the removal of doubts, it is clarified that use of the Mobile Application by the User constitutes an acknowledgement and acceptance by the User of this Agreement and the TOS. If the User does not agree with any part of such terms, conditions and notices, The user must not use the Mobile Application.
Additionally, Service provider (Paresh Agencies) may provide terms and guidelines that govern particular features, offers or the operating rules and policies applicable to each Service (for example, offers on group bookings etc.). The User shall be responsible for ensuring compliance with the terms and guidelines or operating rules and policies of the Service provider with whom the User elects to deal. In the event that any of the terms, conditions and notices contained in this Agreement or the TOS conflict with the additional/other terms and guidelines specified by the Service provider, then the latter terms/guidelines shall prevail.
The User agrees and undertakes not to sell, trade or resell or exploit for any commercial purposes, any portion of the Service. For the removal of doubt, it is clarified that the Mobile Application is not for commercial use but is specifically meant for personal use only.
The User further agrees and undertakes not to reverse engineer, modify copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer, or sell any information, software, products or services obtained from the Mobile Application. Limited reproduction and copying of the content of the Grantham (Mobile Application) is permitted provided that the Paresh Agencies’s name is stated as the source and consent of Paresh agencies is obtained in writing. For the removal of doubt, it is clarified that unlimited or wholesale reproduction, copying of the content for commercial or non-commercial purposes and unwarranted modification of data and information within the content of the Mobile Application is not permitted. And a strict legal action shall be initiated by Paresh agencies in case of violation of this provision.
Paresh Agencies has endeavored to ensure that all the information on the Grantham is correct, but Paresh Agencies neither warrants nor makes any representations regarding the quality, accuracy or completeness of any data or information contained. Paresh Agencies makes no warranty, express or implied, concerning the Mobile Application and/or its contents and disclaims all warranties of fitness for a particular purpose and warranties of merchantability in respect of services, including any liability, responsibility or any other claim, whatsoever, in respect of any loss, whether direct or consequential, to any user or any other person, arising out of or from the use of the information contained in the Grantham.
Since Paresh Agencies acts only as afacilitator for publication of books, and seller of books,event organizers… etc. it shall not have any liability whatsoever for any aspect of the arrangements between the services provider who can be but not restricted to the author of books or Event organizer and the user as regards the standards of services provided by the services provider. In no circumstances shall Paresh Agencies be liable for the services provided by the services provider.
Although Paresh Agencies makes reasonable commercial efforts to ensure that the description and content in the TOS and on each page of the Mobile Application is correct, it does not, however, take responsibility for changes that occurred due to human or data entry errors or for any loss or damages suffered by any user due to any information contained herein.
As a condition of the use of the Grantham, the User warrants that they will not use the Grantham for any purpose that is unlawful or illegal under any law for the time being in force within or outside India or prohibited by this Agreement and/or the TOS including both specific and implied. In addition, the Grantham shall not be used in any manner, which could damage, disable, overburden or impair it or interfere with any other party's use and/or enjoyment of the Mobile Application. The User shall refrain from obtaining or attempting to obtain any materials or information through any means not intentionally made available or provided for or through the Mobile Application.
Paresh Agencies reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate the access to the Grantham and the related services or any portion thereof at any time, without notice.
All notices and communications (including those related to changes in the TOS, Service, termination of Service etc.,) shall be in writing, in English and shall deemed given if delivered personally or by commercial messenger or courier service, or mailed by registered or certified mail (return receipt requested) or sent via email/facsimile (with acknowledgment of complete transmission) to the following address:
Notice shall be deemed to have been served 48 hours after it has been sent, dispatched, displayed, as the case may be, unless, where notice has been sent by email, it comes to the knowledge of the sending party, that the email address is invalid
This agreement and each TOS shall be governed by and constructed in accordance with the laws of India without reference to conflict of laws principles and disputes arising in relation hereto shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai
Either the User or Paresh Agencies may terminate this Agreement and a Service with or without cause at any time to be effective immediately.
The User agrees that Paresh Agencies may under certain circumstances and without prior notice, immediately terminate the User's user id and access to the Mobile Application /Services. Causes for termination may include, but shall not be limited to, breach by the User of this Agreement or the TOS, requests by enforcement or government agencies, requests by the User, non-payment of service fees owed by the User in connection with the Services as specified in the applicable TOS.
This Agreement may be terminated by either the User or Paresh Agencies through a written notice to the other. The notice can be sent by registered mail/courier or vide an email. Paresh Agencies won’t be held liable in case of non-receipt of email if termination notice is sent vide email. Paresh Agencies shall not be liable to the User or any third party for termination of any Service. Should the User object to any terms and conditions of this Agreement, any TOS or become dissatisfied with the Service in any way, the User's only recourse is too immediately: (a) discontinue use of the Mobile Application/Service; and (b) notify Paresh Agencies of such discontinuance. In the manner as prescribed above by registered mail/courier/ email.
Upon termination of the Service, User's right to use the Mobile Application/Services and software shall immediately cease. The User shall have no right and Paresh Agencies shall have no obligation thereafter to execute any of the User's uncompleted tasks or forward any unread or unsent messages to the User or any third party. Once the User's registration or the Services are terminated, cancelled or suspended, any data that the User has stored on the Mobile Application may not be retrieved later.
Without prejudice to the other remedies available to PareshAgencies under this agreement, the TOS or under applicable law, Paresh Agencies may limit the user's activity, or end the user's listing, warn other users of the user's actions, immediately temporarily/indefinitely suspend or terminate the user's registration, and/or refuse to provide the user with access to the Mobile Application if: (a) the user is in breach of this agreement, the TOS and/or the documents it incorporates by reference; (b) Paresh Agencies is unable to verify or authenticate any information provided by the user; or (c) Paresh Agencies believes that the user's actions may infringe on any third party rights or breach any applicable law or otherwise result in any liability for the user, other users of the Grantham and/or Paresh Agencies.
Paresh Agencies may at any time in its sole discretion reinstate suspended users. Once the user have been indefinitely suspended the user may not register or attempt to register with Paresh Agencies or use the Mobile Application in any manner whatsoever until such time that the user is reinstated by Paresh Agencies. Notwithstanding the foregoing, if the user breaches this agreement, the TOS or the documents it incorporates by reference, Paresh Agencies reserves the right to recover any amounts due and owing by the user to Paresh Agencies and/or the Paresh Agencies and to take strict legal action as Paresh Agencies deems necessary.
If any provision of this Agreement is determined to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part, such invalidity or unenforceability shall attach only to such provision or part of such provision and the remaining part of such provision and all other provisions of this Agreement shall continue to be in full force and effect.

We collect the personal information from you when you register with us or you transact as a guest. During registration you are required to give us your contact information (such as name, email address, date of birth, gender, billing address, delivery address, pin code, mobile number, occupation, interests etc.) Upon registration users may receive communications from Grantham (e.g. newsletters, updates). Even when transact as a guest we collect identifiable information (such as name, email address, date of birth, gender, billing address, delivery address, pin code, mobile number etc.).
We use this information to contact you about the services you are using on our Mobile Application and services in which you have expressed interest. We are the sole owners of your information collected by us at different points on our Mobile Application.
When you make a registration, you'll be asked for your name, address, telephone number, email address, payment details… etc.
Registrations: First and foremost, we use your personal information to complete and administrator your online registration and forward your registration details to the organizer of the event.
Customer service: We provide customer service in office timing ie. Monday to Saturday from 11am to 6 pm. sharing your details with our customer service allows for a quick response when you need us – including helping you for any questions you might have about your registration.
Account administration: We offer a user account facility on our Mobile Application.
In case of “PUBLISH YOUR BOOK” please fill online form for the request of Publish your book which should be error free. The content provided by customer should give appropriate idea of your new book and grammatically correct, also should optimized for online use. Fill and Submit online Form does not mean we have accepted your proposal; you may receive an email stating acceptance or rejection with an explanation from Grantham .
Please allow us at least three to four weeks for evaluating your proposal. To know about the status of your submission, please send us an e-mail or write to us at pareshbookclub.com and we shall get back to you immediately.
Your book should not include unlawful content, including defamation, abuse, harassment, stalking, threats, or otherwise violate the legal rights of others. Does not include excessive profanity or violence and pornography or erotic content.
If your book is accepted for review, our team will offer you a further publishing process to review and approve. Once you approve the terms and conditions, we will let you know about further process by mail or phone.
You acknowledge that Grantham reserves the right to charge for Services and to change its fees from time to time in its discretion without any prior intimation, upon posting by Grantham While using the Service; you will be responsible for the payment of any applicable fees, and shall pay such fees to Grantham.

You can make a payment through Net Banking directly from your Bank Account. It works just like you make payments from your bank account.On the Billing Information page choose Net Banking from the payment Options and click on ‘Pay' button at the bottom, Choose the Internet option & select your preferred bank from the drop down.You will be diverted to your Bank’s login page from where you can login Using your Net Banking login id and password and complete the payment. After the payment is successfully completed you will be diverted back to our Mobile Application where your order confirmation will be generated.We process the order based on theConfirmation received from your bank.
Please note on receipt of order our courier partner will verify the order by calling you on the cell number provided in the shipping address. Hence it is Mandatory to enter all detail information in the Shipping Address. Once the Order is verified we will start its procurement.
The shipment will arrive at your shipping address in the timelines as mentioned on the mail Invoice of your order.
Once verified and confirmed, your order will be processed for shipment in the time specified, from the date of confirmation.
All shipments are sent to you in tamper-evident packaging. In the unlikely event that the package delivered to you is not in sealed condition or looks like it has been opened or tampered with, please do not accept the same, or insist on open delivery and acknowledge receipt only after you have verified the contents are in order as per the accompanying invoice. In case you are not the recipient, please communicate the same to the recipient as well.
There may be other charges are included when you make a purchase on Grantham. It may differ from case to case.
Grantham provides free shipping on all books to all locations in India. International shipping rates are calculated based on the product and the shipping location. These rates are made available during checkout once you enter the delivery address. *conditions apply.
The above shipping charges have been calculated on the assumption that the book is of average size with the weight of 1 Kg. In case of multi-volume sets, overweight books the charges will be higher and will be charged extra. The charges are for Un-Insured deliveries.
The books listed on our Mobile Application do not confirm the availability in stock. In case of non-availability of ordered book(s), the payment against undelivered books shall be refunded in full to the customer.
For ‘In Stock’ Books: These books will also be mentioned as "In Stock" on the book page. For all areas serviced by reputed couriers the delivery time will be 3-7 business days. In some cases books will be sent by Registered Book Post through the Indian Postal Service which may take 1-2 weeks depending on the location.
For ‘Out of Stock’ books: Out of Stock means currently we do not have these books available for sale. In that case, mail us “If we can arrange it for you” we will definitely try to get this book for you. We will give you feedback accordingly.
For ‘Pre-booking’: Such items are expected to be published soon and can be pre-booked for you. The item will be shipped to you on the day of its official release launch and will reach you in 7 to 10 business days after release. The Preorder duration varies from item to item.
With every order, you will receive an email containing the details of the order placed by you. Once the book(s) are shipped, you will receive another email containing the shipping details. We are continuously expanding the list of countries that we ship to. On Special requests we will ship to other countries so please contact us on Grantham

Note : All items (including gifts) will be shipped with an invoice mentioning the price, as per Indian Tax Regulations.
We follow strict quality controls for packaging and shipping to our customers. If something is wrong with the books being shipped by Grantham, we certainly want to help you.
Please ensure that damaged product is in unused and original condition. Include all price tags, labels, original packing and invoice along with the product.
Number of days within which return can be initiated varies from seller to seller. You must contact us within 8 days after receiving the shipment to initiate the return.
If a book ordered by you on Gratham is delivered to you in a damaged / defective condition, please email the pictures of the same at the time of opening the packet at customer care of Grantham for a replacement and send the damaged book back to us (charges for the same should bear by customer). On receipt of the book, we’ll immediately send you the replacement copy. If the book is not available in stock, you would be also eligible for an immediate refund.
In an exceptional case of you receiving a damaged / defective book, please do email the pictures at the time of opening the packet on at customer care of Grantham and we’ll take up on a case to case basis.
We do not offer Returns on Domestic and International of unopened.
In any case where a refund is necessary such as when we are out of stock and cannot ship, or when you return a damaged books, it is our responsibility to request that refund. Some charges may applicable.
Once a replacement request is created, we send you an email details about the replacement.
Defective products which are covered under the manufacturer's warranty products with tampered or missing serial numbers, Items that are returned without original packaging, freebies or accessories.
If you have received a mail from us confirming your refund request then rest assured that we have initiated your refund request and are following up with financial organizations for the same. Sometimes financial organizations take a longer time to process the refund request.
Our general Terms and Conditions and policies are subject to change at any time without notice. To make sure you are aware of any changes, please review this policy periodically. Such changes shall be effective immediately upon posting to this Mobile Application.
